Too many baggages, starting too soon!

Kung ano daw ang puno ay siya rin ang bunga, Ninoy Aquino died a martyr, Cory Aquino became President for a reason -to continue the fight for democracy as a legacy by her slained husband. The late President obviously raised her five children well, all pious, and God fearing.

No doubt, each and everyone of Us are nationalistic by blood and given the chance are patriotic too. Millions mourned the passing of the great lady who brought back democracy.But what IF? what IF Cory is still alive? do we see it coming that Noynoy would be encouraged,endorsed and petitioned to run for Presidency?

Indeed the fruit would never fall far away from it's tree, but Noynoy is never as vocal as his late father was, neither as steadfast as his mother. Noynoys' bearing lack the composure and decisiveness. He walks in lanky strides, frequent mannerisms such as adjusting his spectacles too often than necessary,gaping as much, touching the tip of his nose prior to answering questions asked of him,and dilly-dallying makes me RETHINK the adage.

Noynoy is now on a retreat,for discernment and divine guidance and intervention.

His siblings were obviously stressed,Kris on national t.v. asked that his brother be spared from being pressured-that "Josh is being most affected by all the happenings", for him to stay single."its' better to stay single than to get married during presidency."

Obviously, Noynoy has far too many baggages on his shoulders - his FAMILY!

Ninoy went ahead dispite threat to his life-died a martyr. Cory the plainwidow gained the whole nation and lost her privacy.But remained an ADVOCATE of DEMOCRACY.

Noynoy has only himself to ask ," can I carry the torch? how far can I go,how much am I willing to sacrifice? AM I READY? and AM I MY OWN MAN?"

The Lord answers our prayer in the way that is for Us.
